How do I get a HIP?

First you will want to know how much it is going to cost. You can get a quote by clicking the Get Quote button and answering a couple of simple questions.

You can pay by credit/debit card, send us a cheque or BACS payment or use our deferred payment option. The deferred payment option enables you to defer payment for your HIP until the sale of your property or for nine months whichever is sooner.

We will start production of your HIP and send you logon details and a password so that you can track production of your HIP on-line 24/7.

Shortly after you have placed your order, one of our trained Domestic Energy Assessors will contact you to arrange a convenient time to visit your property and produce your Energy Performance Certificate. The visit will take approximately one hour and the assessor will need to check your insulation, walls, roof, floor, windows, heating, hot water and light bulbs etc.

You or your estate agent can only market your property once certain key HIP documents have been obtained. We will send you an email to tell you when your HIP is 'Compliant for the Purpose of Marketing' along with a link to those documents. You may wish to forward this email to your estate agent.

Once the pack is complete we will send you an email so that you can either download a copy of your HIP or forward it to anyone who needs a copy.
